Artful Home is looking for an individual who is interested in joining our team in Los Angeles, CA as a fulltime or part-time patternmaker to assist us with creating artful, unique women's apparel patterns and revising patterns, including knit and woven. This includes creating 1st patterns and pattern cards, collaborating with designers and technical design making revisions per fit notes, and finalizing sample patterns to be sent for marking and grading. Tech packs with specs would be provided to the pattern maker for 1st patterns and revisions. Patterns must be made digitally using current Gerber software.
This position requires working at our vibrant Los Angeles studio approximately 32 - 40 hours per week with fluctuation of hours based on time of season. Pattern making and revising experience, a working knowledge of Excel, a high level of organizational skills, the a bility to maintain attention to detail, flexibility, the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines are all required .
